Britmet have been shortlisted for the 2020 Pitched Roofing Awards

Britmet Lightweight Roofing are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for the 2020 Pitched Roofing Awards in the ‘Best Use of a Flat-to-Pitch Roof System’. The Waterloo, Cirencester, installed by Art Contracts working with Britmet Lightweight Roofing on behalf of Novus and Bromford Housing Association was part of a huge investment scheme to improve energy ratings on the dwellings while upgrading the roof and mansard areas of 8 blocks of flats.

Originally, the flat roof had failed and was over-sheeted with a standing seam roof which had reached its end of life and a permanent solution was desperately needed. Britmet’s innovative ‘project assist’ facility was utilised by Bromford Housing Association so that all aspects of the initial design stage were taken care of with no upfront costs for the client. This includes planning drawings and applications, fees, structural surveys, and full detailed designs.
