Lightweight Roof Tiles

These are used as replacements for traditional clay tiles, or in a new-build situation as an environmentally friendly and cost effective alternative. Because the overall weight of the structure is much less than a traditional roofing solution (such as slate, clay or concrete tiles) the structure of the supporting beams can be much lighter themselves, leading to easier construction, fewer materials and faster build-out times.

Lightweight Roofing

Some Lightweight roofing systems can be pre-constructed and then simply lifted into place as a single unit or a few large pieces; this has natural advantages over a construction involving individual tiles and the structure can be built off-site giving exceptional quality control.

Metal Roof Tiles

The best quality Metal roof tiles are made from galvanised steel, with many layers of weather-proofing and UV protection on top. There are many technical and quality standards that define the types of metal roofing, and when choosing, it is important to remember the end-use; there are many different types of Metal Roof Tiles including vandal proof tiles, tiles that are resistant to harsh weather conditions and even specially treated tiles that resist the acids found in ash-tree sap and pigeon droppings.

Metal Roofing

This is the term used to describe sheets of metal roof tiles that are designed in a way to look as though they are traditional tiles this is known as "tile-effect roofing". They are available in different sized 'runs' so you can choose a single sheet (eave-to-pitch) or if the distance between the eave and the pitch is too great you can choose inter-locking roofing panels as an alternative.

Metal Roofing Materials

Over the years there have been many different designs and materials used for roofing, with greater or lesser degrees of success. During the 1970s there were many flat roofs built that are now coming to the end of their natural lives. A cost effective and longer term solution to re-laying a flat roof is to consider a different material all together; Flat-to-Pitch Conversion Frames are available that convert a flat roof to a gentle gradient pitched roof, which comes with all the benefits of a pitched roof, ie better weather resistance, eliminate pooling etc.

Tt90 Roofing

Tactray, Tac Tray or TacTray90

A structural metal tray lining system designed to replace timber rafters. This then allows for a traditional tiled or slated roof, without the fire risk of timber. The system is lightweight and strong providing a suitable base for a variety of roof coverings. The installation of underlay, battens and tiles remains identical and the completed roof shows no visible evidence of its use. The system is typically used in hospitals, schools, retail units, offices and areas of high risk.

Structural Liner

A structural liner provides a neat surface suitable for both roof and wall cladding. There is no need for purlins or cladding rails with a structural liner. They can span long lengths and lock together for rigidity.

Structural Decking

Structural Decking offers the benefits of long span construction, enabling the design of light and more cost-effective structures. Structural Decks support outer roof products, they meet construction requirements but allow clean internal lines and many more design options.

Tray System For Roof

Cassettes System For Roof

Sections already felt battened and insulated, ready to receive all types of roof coverings immediately. This is an ideal solution for all types of roofs, especially where buildings need to be made watertight fast.

Twin Skin Roofing

Two layers of metal profiled sheets with a cavity for insulation. Twin Skin roofing systems offer the designer the opportunity to achieve aesthetic appeal as well as meeting regulations.

Composite Roofing

Composite roofing is a manufactured roofing material that is comprised of several materials. It is an economical choice for roofing as it is incredibly durable.

Built Up Warm Roofs

Cassette Deck System

Over Roofing

Flat To Pitch Roof Conversions

A lightweight steel framing system, primarily designed to create a roof pitch. The product can be individually constructed and tailored to suit the specific structural and design requirements of the existing roof. It provides a lightweight alternative to timber trusses.

Asbestos Roof Replacements

Asbestos Alternatives

Traditionally the only way to remove asbestos is to strip it out completely and dispose of it, which will require a specialist contractor and could be costly. There are a number of alternatives to this process.
